Common
Questions

About AXIS, investor eligibility,
reporting, and what comes next.

What is AXIS and how does it work?

AXIS is a private real estate investment firm founded by Tyler Spaans and Adam Howerzyl. We help clients achieve superior returns through the acquisition of value-add multifamily assets in the Midwest. AXIS is financed by investors seeking a combination of strong cash flow and equity appreciation.

Who is eligible to invest with AXIS?

Currently, we are accepting investments from accredited investors.

What tax documents should I expect to receive?

K-1s will be uploaded to your profile in the investor portal, where they are conveniently available for download. Our goal is to deliver K-1s on or before March 15 each year.

What am I investing in?

AXIS offers investors the opportunity to invest in single-asset offerings as well as diversified funds that spread risk across apartment communities in several locations.

How does the investor reporting work?

Investors have access to an online portal where they can review their investment details and relevant documents at their convenience. Investors will also receive quarterly financial reports along with annual update emails reviewing performance against our targets.

Do depreciation and losses pass through to investors?

Yes! We typically perform cost segregation studies on all of our assets, allowing investors to benefit from bonus and accelerated depreciation.
